Sri Parthasarathy Swamy Utsavar

The Parthasarathy Temple is one of the Divya desam found in Triplicane, one among the Thondai Naadu. The Thiru Naamam - "Parthasarathy" means the 'Charioteer of Arjuna' (தேரோட்டி), referring to Sri Krishna's role as a charioteer to Arjuna in Mahabaratha.
பார்த்தசாரதி கோயில் திருவல்லிக்கேணியில் காணப்படும் தொண்டை நாட்டு திவ்யதேசங்களில் ஒன்றாகும். இங்குள்ள பெருமாளுக்கு பார்த்தசாரதி என்பது திருநாமமாகும். இவர் அர்ஜுனனுக்கு தேரோட்டியாக இருந்தவர்.
