Thiruputkuzhi is one of the small town found about 7 miles away from Kanchipuram and about 1 Km from Baluchetti Chattiram on the Chennai - Vellore highway. Lord Vijayaraghava Perumal is found as the Presiding Deity in this temple.

காஞ்சிபுரத்திலிருந்து 7 மைல் தொலைவிலும், சென்னை - வேலூர் நெடுஞ்சாலையில் பாலுச்செட்டி சத்திரத்திலிருந்து சுமார் 1 கி.மீ தொலைவிலும் காணப்படும் சிறிய நகரங்களில் திருப்புட்குழி ஒன்றாகும். விஜயராகவ பெருமாள் இந்த கோவிலில் முதன்மை தெய்வமாகக் காணப்படுகிறார்.
